Margaret AnnMEGGITTIt is with great sadness we announce that Margaret, aged 90 years, passed away peacefully on 21st January 2026, with her loving family by her side, whilst in the care of Worcestershire Royal Hospital, Worcester.

A much loved wife to the late Bill, a wonderful Mum to Jonathan and Sarah, a cherished Granny and Great-Granny to Joseph, Rebecca, Poppy-May and Kallie-Bo, a dear Sister to John and Christine and dear Mother-in-law to Richard. Margaret was also a good friend to many and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

A Service to Celebrate the Life of Margaret will take place at Grimsby Crematorium on Thursday 19th February at 11.15am.

By request family flowers only please and colourful clothing to be worn, if possible.

Donations in memory of Margaret can be made to St Andrews Hospice, a donation box will be available on the day.

Oh so sorry to hear that Mrs Meggit has passed away , was my Teacher and she was so lovely , I did get to speak to her a few years ago and my sister Joyce often so her in Scartho
