Dr Joseph AloysiusMCSHANEPeacefully in hospital on 11th November 2025 surrounded by his loving family Whilst Fortified By The Rites Of Holy Mother Church, aged 97 years and formerly of Northern Moor.
Joe - the beloved husband of the late Ethna McShane, dearly loved Dad of Brigid, Anne and James and treasured Grandad of Matthew, Enya, Catherine and Niall. Also a dear uncle, great uncle and father-in-law.
He will be sadly and forever missed by all his family and friends. Rest in peace.
Requiem Mass to take place at St. Hilda's R.C. Church Kenworthy Lane, Northenden, Manchester M22 4EF on Friday 28th November at 1.30 pm followed by a private committal.
The family kindly request no flowers but any donations sent to The Alzheimer's Society or The Scleroderma and Raynaud's UK (SRUK) would be greatly appreciated.
