You were there for us each morning, and there again each night, until that tragic day, when you held on with all your might. But you were taken from us, snatched away when life was good. We stroked your hand, we said a prayer, it was lonely where we stood, when we had to walk away and leave, our hearts were left with you, never to be mended, our lives were torn in two. We thought the pain would ease, with the passing days and years, but now it's far more painful and we've shed a million tears, we will never forget you Mum, you are with us every day.
