AnneMCNICHOLASPeacefully, at Springhill Hospice, on the 23rd February 2024, after a short illness.
Daughter of James and Annie, Step-Daughter to Nellie, Wife of Vincent; Sister of Maureen; Proud mother of Sean, Simon, Rory and Liam; Grandma to Emma, James, Tory, Karla, Kyle, Matthew, Jack, Madelyn and Jessica and Great-grandma to Oliver, Scarlette, Ryan, Samuel, Noah and Lucy.

Funeral service to take place at St Patrick’s RC Church, Rochdale on Friday 15th March 2024 at 10.00am. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Springhill Hospice.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Anne. I had the privilege of working with her at the Colentina Hospital in Bucharest and later, working for Health Aid in Rwanda.
Anne was an inspirational lady who worked tirelessly to improve the lives of others. She will always be remembered for the incredible work she did and for bringing together so many amazing people.
My deepest condolences to Anne’s family and friends. May she rest in peace.

I am so saddened to read this. Sending love and condolences to Anne’s family, friends and everyone who knew her. I volunteered with Anne’s charity - Health Aid UK - back in 1993. From the moment of meeting Anne, you couldn’t help but be in awe of her and everything she had achieved (up to that point) and now, beyond. She will be missed by many. Anne, thank you for impacting my life for the better. For everything you taught me through being in Romania and for the life long friends I made. May you rest in peace and shine brightly like you’ve always done.
