Ronald AlanMCINTYREPassed peacefully, in the comfort of his own home, on Monday 6th September, aged 97 years. Ronnie was a true gentleman and 'one of a kind' who was very well thought of and will be missed by many. The requiem mass will take place at St Vincent de Paul RC Church on Thursday 23rd September at 9:30am, followed by committal at Rochdale Crematorium at 10:30am. Donations in lieu of flowers to Cancer Research UK. All further enquiries to Rochdale Funeralcare, Co-op. Tel: 01706 653622.

What can I say Ron was a lovely neighbour and friend for many years
He was such a funny character and was highly respected by lots of people in the community and was so independent despite his ailments he never complained and lived his life to the full
I loved listening to his tales on my visits when he reminisced about his very interesting past life
I am going to miss you dearly Ron RIP my dear friend 💔
