EvelynMCGIBBONand the family of Dr. Ian McGibbon wish to thank all friends for their friendship and support during Ian's illness and for the many expressions sympathy for our loss. Sincere thanks to the family doctor and staff of Kirkcudbright Health Centre and Hospital for their care and kindness and to all at the Alexandra Unit at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary for their compassion in caring not only for Ian but for his family at a very difficult time. Thanks also to our Macmillan nurse for her friendship and help. A special thank you to Rev. Douglas Irving for his comforting presence and spiritual support and for leading all Ian's friends in a wonderful celebration of his life. Grateful thanks to the Mitchell famiy at Osborne's for their sympathetic and kind support and to the many friends who attended the funeral and donated £1007.00 to the Macmillan Nursing Service in Ian's memory.
