WilliamMCDONALDPeacefully after a short illness and in his sleep, Bill passed away in the care of Ward 22 of Scunthorpe General Hospital on the 10th December 2025, aged 91 years. Devoted Husband of the late Jo. Loving Father of Cliff, Lisa and Tracey. Cherished Grandad of Ash, David and Aidan. Great Grandad to Millie and William.

A Funeral service will be held at Woodlands Crematorium on Tuesday the 6th January 2026 at 12:40 pm.

Family flowers welcome if so desired.

I've known Mac (Bill) all my life what an absolute gentleman he was we used to use his chippy regularly when his shop was across the road from the Old Show Ground on Henderson Avenue. Condolences to Cliff , Lisa , Tracey at this very sad time what a lovely man he was.

I’ve known Bill and Jo for 65 years, as a child my twin and I frequented Henderson Avenue chippy, lovely , Witty couple and always very friendly and generous to a fault, both will always be remembered, privileged to know both , fly high .
