Sadly passed away at home surrounded and cared for by her loving family.

Wife to Alan. Mother to Paula, John and Maria. Mother-in-law to Paddy, Doug and Nigel. Nanny to John, Damhnaic, Sam, Sophie, Mary, and Fionnuala. Great Nanny to Violet, Harlow, Sofia and Mable. Beloved sister and friend.

Sister Mac cared for many in her long career as a nurse in Tamworth and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Forever in our hearts.

Sister Mary.My mom was a friend who had such admiration for this lady.Personally I thank you for saving my late father's life.He was able to go on for many years due to Sister Mary's quick thinking.

There will be a service for Vera at Hopwas Methodist church on January 16th at 1330, prior to interment at Sutton Crematorium followed by a wake.

We’re so very sorry to hear this. Sister Mac was and still is renowned amongst us nurses from the old General and St Editha’s days. I had the pleasure of reconnecting with her in her latter years and getting to know her lovely husband. A true lady, one of the best nurses. Rest in peace sister Mac. Liza and Dave x
