LeslieMCCARTERPassed away aged 90 on Saturday 2nd September 2023, peacefully at the Leicester Royal Infirmary after a short illness.

A devoted and loving husband to the late Janet and wonderful loving Dad to Richard, Rachel and the late Russell. Beloved Grandad of Patrick, Heather, Tania, Adam & William, and a much loved Brother & Uncle. God bless, rest in peace. You will be forever in our hearts and minds and so sorely missed.

Les's celebration of life will be at 3:30pm on Wednesday 27th September at Great Glen Crematorium, 9 London Road, Great Glen, Leicestershire LE8 9DJ

I approach these anniversaries with sadness that you slipped away from me. For all that you were, the love and joy you gave me, the values and everything you taught me, and the wonderful memories we made together, I am truly grateful and was blessed to have you as my Pa.

Dad, you are in my thoughts everyday and missed so very much. Fathers day without you has not been the same and never will be again, but the memories of the times gone by at the Queen's are still alive, and the visit there today reinforced that.
