Just found this and so my apologies to the family that I am late posting this. I worked with Roddy for a few years at RBS and as he was joining the Corporate Governance team from Internal Audit, we were expecting a bit of a 'stiff shirt'. But that wasn't Roddy at all! He was an absolute hoot and truly the life and soul of many a drinks session we had. He was also a genuinely nice man and a great people person and I recall well that he did a lot in particular to help the development of more junior colleagues. I just wanted Rona, Robert, Niamh, Lucas and Grace to know from someone who does no know them, what a great work colleague and friend Roddy was. He messaged me on LinkedIn in what I now know was about the last week of his life to let me know of his situation and to thank me for the friendship over the years. That was the big man - always thinking of other people. Rest well my big pal and hope your beloved Staggies can survive in the SPL again this season. Lots of love to the family. Gary Stewart
