JeanMCANANEY(Gateshead) Jean passed away peacefully in Chesters Carehome on the 25th June 2026 aged 89 years.

Adored wife to Frank. Much loved mam to Christine, Jean and Alan. Beloved grandma to Christopher, Claire and Joshua and great grandma to Roman, William and Darcey, also a treasured mother-in-law to Gillian. Jean will be deeply missed by all family and friends who knew her.

A funeral service for Jean will take place on Monday 13th July 2:30pm at Birtley Crematorium.

Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of flowers to Alzheimer's Society. A donations box will be provided at the exit of the chapel.

Thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey, and for giving me a place in your life I will always treasure.
Over the years our bond grew into something truly special. The trust you placed in me was something I never took for granted. It was unique, precious and deeply humbling. It was an honour to be there for you.
