DavidMAWHINNEYPassed away peacefully after a long illness, at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary on 26th March 2026, aged 82 years. Beloved husband of Shirley, devoted dad of David, Linda and Sharon, a much loved grandad of Lindsay, Daniel, Lewis, Luke and Xavier and a proud great-grandad of Leon, Danica and Hallie.
The funeral service will take place at Huddersfield Crematorium on Tuesday 21st April at 10:00am. All who knew David are welcome to attend.
Family flowers only please, but donations in lieu, if desired, may be given to Yorkshire Cancer Research. A donation box will be available at the service.
