MalcolmMACKAYMACKAY Malcolm, Morag, Gillian and Pamela, the family of the late Fiona Mackay, wish to express their sincere gratitude to everyone who showed them sympathy on their recent sad bereavement. Our thanks to all our extended families, relations, neighbours and friends, who supported us, prior to and after the funeral. In so many different ways, for which we are really appreciative. Special thanks to the medical staff, Doctors, Nurses who attended, and treated Fiona with dignity and respect especially Dr Brian Kennan and the diabetes team at The South Glasgow University Hospital for their immense support and dedication to helping Fiona over many years. Staff on Ward 1 at the former Southern General cared for Fiona like extended family during her many extended admissions. Thanks also to Dr Daly and the renal team at Vale of Leven Hospital. Heartfelt thanks to Professor Welsh and everyone at St. Margaret's Hospice for the care shown to Fiona and the family. To Dr McMillan and staff on Level 7 at the former Western Hospital for their care and support through the years. Special thanks to Doctors and staff at Greenlaw Medical Practice for their unwavering help and support. Much gratitude is given to Andy and Rebecca, hospital chaplains at The Southern for the very special support they gave Fiona. Finally thanks to the restaurant staff at The Southern for their attention to Fiona's special dietary requests. We are indebted to Robert, family and staff at Moodies Funeral Directors, Paisley who cared for Fiona in death and took care of all arrangements making every detail beautiful and truly unique to Fiona. Thanks also to Barbara Campbell, Civil Celebrant who made the service truly special and comforting. We are deeply sorry we didn't have the strength to personally thank each of you at the funeral. It would be impossible to thank all those concerned individually, please accept this press acknowledgement as a token of our heartfelt appreciation.
