Brian JohnLUMBERBorn in Yeovil to Harry & Elsie, brother for Ronald.

Attended Yeovil School before starting a 25 year career in banking
with what became Nat West.
A change of direction took him with his wife Angela
and their four daughters in to catering and hospitality at
Emsworth Sailing Club for many enjoyable years.
From there a lifelong love of railways took him to Swindon to work
on the GWR line and work in timetable planning where he finally retired at 78.
His love of warm weather led him to spend 13 years in Frejus, France enjoying the sun and vino,
before returning to Banbury to be surrounded by his large family
including grand, great grand and great great grandchildren.
Yeovil was very much in his heart and often reminisced about running down
with his young mates to see the trains approaching Yeovil town, Yeovil junction and Penmill.

Brian died peacefully with his girls around him,
very much loved after a life worth living.
