The obituary notice of Irene LOWMAN

I'm sorry to learn of Irene's passing.
I first got to know Irene and her late husband Alan back in the early 1980s when Alan was my Sunday School teacher at St Bartholomew's Parish Church in Lostwithiel.
I have particular fond memories of the parties the Lowmans used to organise for us children at Trevone, the Guest House they once owned on Edgcumbe Road. I also remember for a while, David, their son ran a Sunday School affiliate known as Club in the Church Rooms every Monday evening, which must have been a forerunner to Messy Church.
I send my condolences to Irene's remaining family as they're remembered in my thoughts and prayers at this time. I feel sure that the contribution the Lowmans have made to church life at St Bartholomew's over the years will never be forgotten!
