Matthew JamesLOVATTMatt passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday 26th August 2026, aged 56, in the loving arms of his devoted wife, Jenny.

Matt was a kind and gentle soul whose warmth and caring nature touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He was a much loved husband, son, brother, son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew and friend. His loss will be deeply felt and he will be remembered with great affection by all his family and friends.

A celebration of Matt's life will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Thursday 17th September at 12.15pm. Will all friends please meet at the crematorium. Family flowers only but if desired a donation will be gratefully received in Matt's memory for MCHC (Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity - The Rehab Fund) .

It was a true privilege to work alongside Matt but an even greater honor to call him a friend. He was a deeply kind, caring soul and a perfect gentleman who brought so much warmth to our days. He faced his illness with incredible dignity and a quiet inner strength that would inspire many. I will miss him dearly. Rest in peace my friend xx
