I met David and his lovely wife Joan a few years ago through a group we all attended at St Andrews, living with cancer, from this 7 of us decided to stay in touch meeting for a coffee now and again.
David is unfortunately the 3rd one to sadly pass. David was a lovely
man, he had a good sence of humour even when he was obviously struggling with his illness, he was always interested
how we had all been and what we had been doing since our last
meeting and was happy to tell us
about the horse racing. He will be sadly missed from our little group
(the coconuts). Thoughts and
love to Joan and the family

Very sad to read this.I remember David from school as a very studious quiet lad.Role on 40odd years walking home from jury service and I stopped to have a good chat and he said he was thinking of retirement.Hope you got to enjoy some of your retirement David.RIP David.

Shocked to hear that Dave has passed. Spent many a time me, Dave and Chippy Garrod fishing around Lincolnshire, usually with a barrel full of laughs. Never a dull moment with Lordy around. RIP me old mucker.
