Steven JohnLONGTHORPEPassed peacefully away at Torbay Hospital, on 23rd April 2026 aged 76 years.

Beloved husband of Angela, and loving dad to Andrew and Siân.

Steve was a much loved Papa to Mollie, William,Tilly and Sophie, and will be deeply missed by all the family and his friends, especially those at the Ibex Canoe Club and the Admiral Swimming Pool in Brixham.

A Service to Celebrate Steve's life will be held at St. Mary's Church, Brixham on Thursday, 21st May at 11.30am.

For many years I had the pleasure of coaching with Steve at the Ibex Canoe Club and I look back at those times with the fondest of memories. Steve was totally dedicated to the sport and an inspiration to all. He was also a true gentleman and one of the nicest people I knew. R.I.P. Steve from your old mate Max
