BrendaLONGOn 12th May 2019, peacefully in the Hospice surrounded by her loving family, Brenda, aged 78 years, of Oswaldtwistle. The much loved wife of the late Wallace, dearly loved mum of Heather and the late Russell, loved mother in law of Graham and Vittoria, loving grannie of Daniel, Kieran, Chris, Amy, Eily and Callum, loving gran-gran of Shimarni, Setesha, Russell, Antony, Cody and Isaac, dear auntie to Jack, James and Paul and loving sister in law of Margaret. Brenda worked at Rists Wires as a Team Leader until she retired at the age of 53 to look after her grandchildren. She was so well thought of there by her team that they called her "auntie Brenda". She also worked part-time behind the bar at James St Club where she loved meeting people. Brenda loved dancing, parties and family gatherings and was partial to the odd glass of sherry. She was an avid Burnley fan and enjoyed quiz shows and Murder Mystery nights. She was always smiling and people just loved her. Brenda will be fondly remembered for making everyone feel special. Brenda's funeral service will be held at Accrington Crematorium, Burnley Road, Accrington BB5 6HA on Tuesday 21st May 2019 at 12.20pm.
