Loving husband of Joyce, devoted father to Sarah and Douglas, father-in-law to Rebecca and loving grandpa to Jacob, Otis and Kit.

Funeral service will take place at Whitley Bay Crematorium on Thursday 27th February 2025 at 12.00 noon.

Family flowers only please.

We have very fond memories of our time in Shaftesbury Avenue and our friendship with our neighbours, John and Joyce, which has lasted fifty years, long after we left Whitley Bay. John was such a lovely man, kind, cheerful and always ready for a chat. Sending our love and sympathy to Joyce, Sarah, Douglas and all the family. George and Margaret xx
