It is an unbelievable difficult time saying good bye to a loved one. A man wears many hats during their life ; son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and uncle are but a few. My uncle Peter Livingston was wonderful at all of them.
My brothers and I were lucky enough to have had my Aunt and Uncle open their home to us many times over the years. You always felt his warmth, happiness and love at having his family around him.
I am sure, I can speak on behalf of my father Dugald (elder brother) my brothers and my cousins when I say, he was one of the best Uncles a person could have. I can personally say some of my happiest memories were ones spent with him and his family. We are so blessed to have had him in our lives and will forever treasure our memories.
He was such an incredible presence and a integral part of each and every visit home to Scotland. I can't imagine it any other way. Uncle Peter thank you for everything. We will always love you and you will forever be in our hearts.
