JanetLITTLEof Windsor Avenue, Church, Accrington sadly passed away in the Lancashire Cardiac Centre, Blackpool on Thursday, November 3, aged 65 years. Janet grew up in Rishton and spent her career in numerous roles namely working at Accrington NORI within the canteen where she went on to meet her husband Ian. Janet spent many happy years at Accrington Victoria Hospital as a health care assistant on Ward Two doing a job she loved, being able to care for people at their time of need. Whilst there, Janet had an amazing group of colleagues, becoming special friends along the way and enjoyed spending time out of work with them, going for lunch. She retired in 2019 and these friendships endured through her remaining years. Janet spent many happy years with her husband Ian enjoying their many family holidays making special memories along the way. Janet went on a Kenyan Safari for her 60th birthday. This was the trip of a lifetime as Janet had a love for elephants and enjoyed a hot air balloon ride with Ian over Masai Mara to watch them at sunrise. Janet was happiest when spending time with family and was very close to sisters Joanne and Julie. She adored spending time with her grandchildren and the many special memories they had together. Janet will be remembered for being a kind and caring person and always ensuring that everyone around her was well looked after.
