John EdwardLINDSAYAt peace on Monday 17th August 2026 at his home in Penkhull surrounded by his loving family, John aged 84 years.
The dearly loved husband of Margaret, much loved dad of Katrina, Darren and the late Jason, very dear father-in-law of Jason and Louise, dearest step-dad of Ellen and Mark, Carol, Nigel and Esme, a devoted and treasured grandad, great grandad and great great grandad, a dear uncle and good friend to many.
A funeral service and cremation will take place at Bradwell Crematorium on Monday 21st September at 11.20am. Relatives and friends wishing to attend kindly meet for the service.
John was a lifelong Port Vale supporter; the wearing of any football shirts is a welcome tribute.
Family flowers only please, donations can be given in memory of John to the Douglas Macmillan Hospice, Parkinsons UK or Dementia UK.
A donation collection box will be available on leaving the crematorium chapel.
