JoanLEONARD(Washington) Passed away peacefully at home on Friday 3rd September 2021, aged 70 years. Beloved Mam to Rob, David and Colin. Much loved Mother-In-Law to Joyce, Marie and Rob. Sister to Margaret, Audrey and Christine. Joan was a loving Sister-In-Law, Grandma and Great-Grandma. The funeral service will be held at Saltwell Crematorium on Monday 13th September at 11:15AM. The family have requested that no black formal wear be worn. Please wear something colourful. Donations welcomed in lieu of flowers to St. Benedict's Hospice. Rob and I laughed last night.... smithereens. I always thought this was a made up word by you...apparently not. We also laughed at you checking the back door to make sure it was locked before you went anywhere, even though you never bloody opened it.

I was at a funeral in the Crem yesterday, the curtains were left open right to the last minute because Sheila didn't like to miss anything. I laughed to myself and thought we should have done that for you, you never liked to miss anything.

I miss you so much mam xxx
