David, eldest son of Pat and Mike Lavin, died peacefully after a long illness on the 15th September 2025 at Diana Princess of Wales Hospital, Grimsby.

Brother to John, Patrick and the late Julia. Uncle to James, Sean, Bridget, Christa, Nina, Sonia, Thomas, Tim and Elizabeth. Cousin to Catey and Jane.

A funeral mass to celebrate David's life will be held on 24th October at 11am at Corpus Christi, Roman Catholic Church, Cleethorpes, followed by a private burial.

Family flowers only but any donations in David's memory may be made to the Corpus Christi Church, Cleethorpes on the day or sent to Mashford Funeral Directors, Norfolk Lane, Cleethorpes, DN35 8BB. Tel 01472 200004

Absolutely beautiful service today. Many memories of seeing your Mother and Father and all of you when young at Mass on a Sunday morning and also remember David serving on the altar. Such a gentle gentleman from a beautiful family. REST IN PEACE 🙏🙏🙏Christine Redfearn x
