Kevin Church.
I hadn't seen Alby in many years but back in the 70s I'd like to think we were very good friends. Alby introduced me to Rock and Roll and together we went to see many big bands including Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, ELP, Ten Years After. I was 16, Alby 17, though he looked much younger. They were great times for me. But as so often happens in life, events took us on different paths.
Alby was a lovely man, always smiling, I used to cheer up each time we met. It was a long time ago but I'm deeply saddened by his death.
Sincere condolences to his family.
