Anne was an amazing lady I remember her mostly from my childhood when I used to go round with her other grandchildren and play for hours on end. Such a lovely kind soul and so sad that she’s no longer with us. I’m sending all my love to Anne’s family and Jeff. Your all in my heart

Tribute For Ann

I first met Ann through Claire her wonderful daughter and granddaughter Colette, when she started at Bumble Bee Nursery. As Colette’s support teacher, I remember so clearly how proud Ann was of her granddaughter and all of her achievements.

But it was on Chloe’s sports day that I really got to know Claire, and that was the day I truly met Ann—even before we had ever spoken face-to-face. Claire would talk and talk about her mum and dad, Ann and Jeff, sharing what truly amazing parents they were together.

Ann was such a bright light in Claire's life that, by the time I finally met her in person, I felt like I already knew her.

My absolute favourite memory of Ann was spending Boxing Day with her. Claire had kindly invited me along, and though I felt a little nervous at first, Ann instantly made those nerves disappear. She made me feel like I was a true part of the family. She didn’t just open her home to me; she opened her big, beautiful heart.

Ann was a woman who brought beauty into the world in every way. Her hair was always gorgeous, she loved her clothes, and she was absolutely immaculate wherever she went.

But her true beauty was how she made people feel. She was a bright light who left this world a little warmer and a lot more elegant.

She will be so deeply missed, but her love lives on in Jeff, Claire, and her beautiful family Chloe, Colette and the boys
