mum we hope you knew how special you were how beautiful you were how much fun you were how you blessed our lives how proud we were of you how much we enjoyed being with you how many smiles you gave us but most of all how much we loved you

mum thank you your nurturing ways through all the nights and days you were my companion and my guide forever by my side and the bond we shared was beyond compare so thank you mum for your love and care

Thinking of you on Mother's day wishing you were here remembering you with a mountain of love and an ocean full of tears so may the winds of love blow softly and whisper in your ear we love and miss you mum and wish that you were here.

mum you were the calm in every storm the hand that held us safe and warm your love a light no night could fade even when death drew the shade death pulled the curtain and stole your face but not your light and not your grace and now sunsets paint the walls with gold with the love you left which will never grow old

mum it's in the little things now a song or a scent your name written somewhere unexpected it still knocks the air out of me just like it did in the beginning but maybe worse because now l understand the full weight of forever l miss you deeply
