Eric BernardKNIGHTLEY(Cochrane Park) Peacefully at the Freeman Hospital on 13th February 2025, aged 82 years. Husband of Sylvia, much loved dad of Lois, much loved grandpa of Natalie, and cherished great grandpa of Faith, also dear father-in-law of Brian. Eddie will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends. Please meet for funeral service at Tynemouth Crematorium on Wednesday 5th March at 12 noon. Flowers may be sent to Co-op Funeralcare, Billy Mill Avenue, North Shields, NE29 0QR, or donations can be made on the day. A donation box will be available at the service. All welcome afterwards to the Percy Park Rugby Club.

Hi Eddie as we know you, over 50 years mate of friday nights with our cars in the early days. We used to visit some great venues and some dodgy ones. The good thing about drinking in the same pub every friday is that we made some good friends there .In 2008 we were 9 in the company last friday there were four, I know you would be drinking with some of the others we lost, we will remember you mate. x
