Sad to hear just now that Andrew has passed. Both he, Fiona, and their staff were great to work with in my Property dealings. Great memories and I wish Fiona and family all the best. RIP. David Boulter

I first knew Andrew about 50 years ago now when I worked in the court offices in Paragon St Hull. We used to check his applications etc. as was our job. I think in the end we stopped bothering because he was always right! Lol. Later I worked with him at Philip Hamer &Co for about 4 years before I went to live in Australia. After my return to the UK I met him from time to time. By then of course he had his own practice. An all round good guy and very knowledgeable. He will be missed I'm sure.

For over seven years, I had the privilege of working with Andrew. He never ceased to amaze—always knowledgeable, extremely efficient, and extraordinarily dedicated. Any firm receiving one of Andrew’s letters knew they were in for a formidable contest on complex issues; few could go toe to toe with him and prevail. I will miss his meticulous, multiple page letters with his rigorous analysis. They were constructed with purpose: every paragraph carrying weight.
With Andrew’s passing, the profession has lost a rare, diminishing breed of unique character—one who met every “legal duel” with integrity, intellect, and resolve. There is no doubt that he will be sorely missed.
