Charles DavidKINGOctober 31st 2023 Aged 87 years. Beloved husband to the late Nancy. Loving Father to Tony and Debbie. Proud Grandad to Matthew, James, Thomas and Harry. Dave will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. A funeral service will take place at St Luke's Church, Formby on Monday 4th December at 11:15am followed by interment at Liverpool Road Cemetery, Ainsdale at 12:30pm. Family flowers only please but donations are being gratefully received for 'Mersey Kidney Research' c/o Dean Brothers Independent Funeral Services since 1827, Deans Court, Gores Lane Formby, Liverpool, L37 7DF. Uncle Dave was not only a gentleman but also a distinguished researcher into Chadwick and his contributions to Liverpool University, the subject of his PhD thesis in 1997.

Dave my heart is breaking, it's struggling to mend.
You have been taken from us my wonderfully amazing friend.
You started as my client but soon became much more.
We bonded over Times crosswords and cups of tea galore.
My Thursdays now feel empty, I miss your smiling face.
You've gone to join your Nancy in a rosier looking place.
