Michael BrendanKILCOYNEBrendan/DrMBK Dad died peacefully at home in Kent on Wed 8 April, after 90 extraordinary years. He was a devoted and loving husband/father, a friend to all, a man of strong principle and Catholic faith, a Doctor and a Dentist of 50 years, a schoolboy international rugby player, a redoubtable golfer and a connoisseur of all good things (esp. Irish rugby, wine, France, Verdi/Puccini and James Bond). A big heart and a true character: serious and fun loving in equal measure - he pulled as many legs as teeth. A Man of Kent by adoption; an Irishman at heart. His family and the whole world will miss him very much. His family: Marie, Des, Kieron and Brian

Very sad to hear of the passing of Brendan, last of the Kilcoyne Twins (characters both) and of the Kilcoyne first cousins. We will say a prayer for him here in Achill where the Kilcoyne Family originated. He had a big heart and a big laugh.

Brendan was always a bundle of energy. You heard his laugh before you saw him. My sympathy to
you Marie and all the family. May he rest in peace. Father John, St. Agnes Parish, Crumlin, Dublin. 12.

Sorry to learn of the passing of Brendan in the Irish Times 22 April. He was most helpful to us when we stayed in London almost 50 years ago and even did some dentistry for Philda. He was a true gentleman, a great example to all and will be sadly missed by Marie and the boys, and his many friends in the UK and Ireland. Philda and Pat Deasy, Dublin
