SarahKERSHAWThe family of Sarah Kershaw, lovingly known as Sally, are deeply saddened to announce that she passed away peacefully at home on the 1st April 2026, aged 101years.
Sally was a devoted wife to the late Harry Kershaw, long term partner to Ronald Heys, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and she will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Complete Care Services, the Rossendale District Nursing Team, and Rossendale Hospice for the care, kindness and compassion shown to Sally and her family during her final months.
Sally's funeral will take place on Wednesday 29th April at 11:30am at Burnley Crematorium. Donations, if desired, may be made to Rossendale Hospice, a donation box will be available on the day.
