MargaretKERRYIt is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Margaret Kerry, a much-loved daughter, sister, aunt, friend and wise soul.

She is survived by her niece Elaine Margaret Smith and her nephew Michael William Smith, both of British Columbia, Canada, as well as by many others whose friendships she deeply valued.

A woman of strength, intelligence and independence, she was always ready to offer her thoughts and share opinions, yet was never one to impose her views on others.

She was quietly determined, yet possessed the grace to accept what she could not change. Her company would take you to a place of calm.

A final God bless and "love you" Auntie M - you will be missed by many. We wish to extend our profound gratitude and thanks to the caregivers at The Limes for their endless dedicated energy and loving care they provided Margaret during her time as a resident.

A memorial service will be held at Markeaton Crematorium - Round Chapel on Wednesday 11th March at 11.30am.

I've known Margaret for many years, firstly as her lady gardener - then as a friend visiting her at the Limes. She was always the same, pleased to see me, chatting as friends do. Accepting whatever came her way, always cheerful. I shall miss her calm wisdom and conversations. Xx
