DeniseKENTIf you are reading this I Denise Jane Kent passed away peacefully on 5th January 2026.

Wife of Anthony, loving mum of Victoria, Matthew and Alice, mum-in-law to Mark and Josh, granny to Malakai, granny's beautiful boy. Loving sister of the late Paul, daughter of the late Joseph and Brenda, loved sister-in-law, aunty, cousin and friend. Denise will be missed by many.

I struggled to remain, I made excuses that work was unfinished, but finally accepted my masters ruling. Please don't bring flowers or long faces to say farewell, bring the money you would have spent, a good voice, a smile and an open heart.

Funeral service at Holy Trinity Church, Northwood on Thursday 29th January at 10.00am, followed by interment in Carmountside Lawn Cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations for Holy Trinity Church, by doing this you will benefit many.

You have been my friend, meet my friends you didn't know, I've had a life well lived.

A dear friend. I may not of been in touch very often but I still hold you dear. You taught me a lot and supported me in crisis. You were fun of fun and laughter and I hope right through to the end. So pleased you made use of the pram when Alice arrived unexpectedly! Love you with all my heart. Deborah

A friendship from long ago never ends. I miss her humour, our singing and dancing and fun days working at St. John's charity shop. Her generous heart and love for life and her family will never be forgotten.

A warm, genuine and generous person. Much fondly remembered (by me and my late wife Janice) from my time in Hanley and in written communications in the years since.
Much appreciated the service today and meeting other old friends.
May she rest in peace.

Given in memory of a much loved and valued visitor of the City Archives. We have very fond memories of Mrs Kent, a lovely, kind, funny and generous person. She is much missed.
