Thanks also to Lorraine Simpson for the Humanist ceremony, police and ambulance officers and staff at the RHS hospital for their sensitivity, Dr Damien Smith at Abbey Medical Centre for his care and attention, the Glynhill hotel for the reception, Co-op funeral service for their care, and a special thanks to neighbour Susan McNamara for being there when it mattered.
