TRIBUTE TO JOHN ANTHONY JOYNES

It is with heavy hearts that we pay tribute to John Anthony JOYNES, a truly remarkable man, a friend who became family in every sense of the word.

Although we’ve known John in a very short while, we can truly attest to the fact that he lived a life filled with kindness, generosity, and quiet yet powerful acts of love. His sudden passing has left us deeply saddened, but we are comforted by the beautiful memories he leaves behind.

Living miles away from our home country, John and his family became a source of warmth to our family, showed genuine acceptance and welcome to us, always looking out for us, always ready to lend a helping hand. We will never forget the countless times he drove us home from church, offering us lifts in his car even when it was inconvenient for him. His willingness to help, no matter the circumstance, was a true reflection of his generous and compassionate spirit.

He showered our children with love, thoughtful gifts, and gentle encouragement. To them, he was more than a family friend; he was a grandfatherly figure whose presence brought joy like their grandfather who is very far away from them. His kindness towards them spoke volumes about the goodness of his heart.

We will remember him for his humility, his compassion, and his unwavering support. He lived simply, loved genuinely, and touched our lives in ways words can hardly express. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy of love and kindness will remain with our family forever.

May the gentle soul of John Anthony JOYNES rest in perfect peace, Amen.

We are grateful to God for the blessing of having known him.

We also extend our deepest condolences to his lovely wife Kathleen, and all the family at this difficult time.

Lots of love from Emmanuel, Bibian and family
Nkiruka Bibian Asogwa
