Dear Uncle Len my Godfather, you will be greatly missed, I used to imagine what it would have been like if you'd emigrated with us to Oz in the '70's alas it wasn't to be but you did keep in contact tapping into British Telecoms lines for free overseas calls every now and then!! You made us all laugh when you called and I know my Dad, your brother Bill missed you and I didn't meet you as an adult until 2001. Since then we have been to Liverpool several times and catching up with you was always the highlight, you were bloody hilarious making all us Aussies laugh. I loved your stories about your adventures as a merchant seaman, especially the one where you were in NZ and pulled down your pants and waved your backside at the locals, a deadly insult over there, I don't know how you made it back alive!

Jenn, Clancy, our Rose and I are sending all our love to your Rose, Jo Jo, Stephen and Robert and the kids and our deepest condolences, we will raise a glass to you Len and always remember you with love and fondness.
