Marie, our dear friend, one of those truly special people who was completely unaware of how special you were; your warmth and strength touched everyone lucky enough to know you.
As Glynne's girlfriend then wife, you became such an important part of our lives and we made so many treasured memories. You were funny, caring, and full of life — the kind of person who made people feel welcome, valued, and loved.
You never seemed to know the word “can’t.” Whatever life placed in front of you, you faced it with determination, courage, and heart. Fiercely loyal and you always stood up for those who could not stand up for themselves. You had a wonderful sense of fairness and kindness that people admired deeply.
Above all, you adored your husband and family. Your two boys, George and Henry, were your pride and joy, You were so pleased they found such lovely partners to share their lives with and your three grandchildren brought such joy and happiness to your life. The love you had for them all shone through in everything you said.
You were taken far too soon, but not without a courageous battle, and the space you leave behind cannot be filled. But we will always remember your laughter, your strength, your compassion, and the way you made the world a little better simply by being in it.
Rest peacefully, Marie. You will be loved, remembered, and missed always.

What can I say, ive heard all the stories of marie and mum growing up. When we met in florida I can say you didnt disappoint. The crazy, fun, loving and above all else mums best friend. Both gained them wings way too soon. You held such a special spot in mum's heart for all them years. You came to mum's funeral marie and you bought mum's memory to life. I wish your family so much love while getting thru this difficult time. As losing someone as special as marie is never going to be something you get over. Dance the night away girls, and get into all the mischief you can find. We will definitely know why theres thunder now. Ive got all the pictures of marie lighting gases on fire. Sending loads of love.
