The obituary notice of David Maxwell JONES

Dafydd was such a lovely person. He will be truly missed in the village. We often used to chat at The shed cafe and nifty 60’s exercise class. My husband studied welsh alongside him. Our condolences to Ulrike and all his loved ones

I knew David as a music enthusiast and great partner in classical guitar duets, but we spent much time during our weekly get-together reflecting on world events (he keenly read Private Eye) and reassembling the world order in surreal fashion. Laughter was to be heard as much as music. The one-time nuclear physicist and alternative health therapist was also keen on bird watching, his partner Uli, his/her family (and their dogs), painting, and volunteering for the local Good Turn Scheme. A good friend.
