Dorothy MaudJONESJONES - DOROTHY MAUD (Dot ), . At the wonderful age of 106, Dorothy "Dot" Jones passed away peacefully and with dignity holding the hand of her dear friend Linda. A much loved cousin to Val and John and close friend of Linda, Norman and Joan, Dot died at Rowan Garth Nursing Home on September 27 following a full, active and happy life. Born in 1913 in her beloved Liverpool, Dot was an accomplished pianist playing at her local church where she and Flo, her companion for many years, spent lots of happy times. Following a private cremation, a service to celebrate Dot's long life is being held at Stoneycroft United Reform Church, Green Lane, on Thursday, October 17 at 12-noon. All friends welcome.
