Twelve years later, I still love and miss my legendary Dad in equal measure. It's reassuring to know Dad is with family and friends, but I know he protects us too. We still hear his laughter, we still hear his 'reactions', and we still hear his jokes - just when we need them.
I am forever grateful that my Dad is my Dad, my Mum is my Mum, and Campbell is my big wee brother. So slainte Dad, sending you, Mum and Campbell so very much love; From your wee lass forever, Kirsteen xoxox

Happy Heavenly Birthday, Dad, from your girl who will always love you. Thank you for your love and protection both when you were physically here, and now that you're in a different realm. Help yourself to your angels' share, the guide measure is there for you, Mum, Campbell, and all your relatives and friends who join the party.
Slainte, Dad, Love Always,
Kirsteen xoxox

I guess it's a sign of just how much you love someone, when you still love and miss them just as much - and more - as time goes on.
My adorable Dad passed away eleven years ago today, and I adore him and miss him no less now than I did that day. I've learned how to cope, but I still greatly appreciate those special signs to show that he's still around. I know that there are a growing band of lovely people out there who understand exactly what I mean, each in their own way.
So today, I want to send love to all those missing their own loved ones, and to say that when you feel their presence, you quite simply are not alone.
I will always adore and miss my hero Dad, my gorgeous Mum, and my darling Campbell. I trust that they are all up there having fun, and that they will celebrate Campbell's birthday up there on the 29th while we celebrate his life down here.
So I'm going to say, as my Dad would say, with a guid dram in his hand .....
Slainte xxxxx

We still celebrate your birthdays, Dad, but we will always miss those wonderful family celebrations with you, Mum and Campbell. I know you still protect us and I've had so many signs today to remind me that you are still around, so enjoy your angels' share dram today and tomorrow - during that Scotland and England match!!! Such incredibly precious memories; Happy Birthday My Dad - your wee lass will love you always. Slainte xxxxx

It's just too difficult to reflect that you've been physically gone from us for 10 years, Dad ... I still desperately miss your company and hugs but then I have solace in knowing that you're reunited with Mum, Campbell and all the Jolly family and friends that you waited so very long to see again. I'll never stop loving you and never stop missing you; I can only be proud and happy that you were - and always will be - my Dad. Ten years 'gone' but the legend and spirit lives on. Love you always - slainte Dad, from Kirsteen xoxox

What I would give to sit and hug with my Dad on his birthday - or any day. There's so much to chatter about, but that would be secondary. What would be wonderful, absolutely wonderful, would be me, and my beloved Dad, enjoying a hug - with Mum and Campbell xoxox

You passed on to the next dimension 9 years ago today, Dad, but it's wonderful to know you're always around with your signs and presence - sometimes subtle, sometimes really not, especially when I'm visiting a chapel with some pupils ..... you're my Dad, I'm your wee lass. Love and miss you always. Love and hugs for Campbell's birthday on 29th xoxox

This girl will simply never stop missing or loving her Mum, Dad or brother. In the scariest of times, a daughter should just always know that her Dad is watching over her. I do. Happy Birthday up there, Dad, party in safety with Mum, Campbell, and an ever-growing group of your family and friends. Slainte from Kirsteen xoxox

What I would give for a chat with you, Dad, about all the incredibly strange things happening in the world. We would have a serious chat about the politics then after a wee dram we would have a giggle and make it all better. You always made me feel safe, Dad, and you still do. I sense your presence every time I'm at risk, and your protection helps me keep my nerve at work these days. I don't know how you and Mum and Campbell do it, but you do somehow. Rest In Peace? Not my family! Looking after us ... always. Love and gratitude ALWAYS from Kirsteen xoxox

I can only imagine your reactions to the many strange and unprecedented circumstances of the world in 2020, Dad - and on your anniversary this year my only consolation is that you are safe along with Mum and Campbell, in a place where no illness can affect you. This daughter will always miss her Dad. Much love always, Kirsteen xoxox
