BrianJOHNSONFollowing an illness, bravely borne, Brian passed away peacefully on the 18th of September at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital aged 89, with his beloved children Simon and Nikki at his side.

Brian was a much-loved husband to the late Jean for 64 years and soul mates for 69. Now re-united in heaven, Brian will be with his beloved "Jeanie" and his son Jeff once more.

He was an amazing father to Simon, Nicola and the late Jeff, father-in-law to Suzanna, Ashley, and Debbie. The best "Grandad" to Emily, Thomas, Liam and Hayley and proud Great Grandad to Kai, Ezra, Elijah, River, and Darcie.

Brian was a long-standing player and former captain of Gloucester All Blues Rugby Club.

The funeral service and cremation will take place at Gloucester Crematorium on Thursday, 9th October at 11.00 am. We would ask that you wear something you are comfortable in.

Family flowers only please. Donations are invited to Gloucester Royal Hospital and the British Heart Foundation to be placed in the collection box at the service.
