In the early 1970s Ray was one of the very first friends I met in the UK after emigrating from Australia. We also bonded as musicians. His wonderfull family welcomed me into their home and gave me an opportunity to move on in life, Ray and I remained friends to the day he passed. RIP Ray, you were a wonderful kind person.
