Vera ThelmaJOHNSONJOHNSON, Vera Thelma (née Davies), died peacefully at Burcot Grange Care Home, Bromsgrove, on Wednesday 9th July 2025, aged 97 years, following a long illness. Beloved wife of the late William Leslie (Bill), dear mother of Elaine, Denise and Maxine and mother-in-law to Robert (Bob), Paul and the late Stephen. Much loved grandmother to Rachel, Alexander, Matthew, Thomas and James and great-grandmother to Ava, Charlotte, Jack, George and Millie. Born and raised in Stirchley and Northfield, Birmingham; formerly of Bromsgrove and of Highcliffe-on-Sea. Service and cremation to take place at Waseley Hills Crematorium on Thursday 31st July at 1.00 p.m. The family would like to express their thanks to all staff at Burcot Grange. Donations, if desired, to The Ambulance Staff Charity (www.theasc.org.uk/donate).

Always knew her as Aunty Vera as Bill worked with my father in West Mids Police. Used to socialise with family and Elaine Denise and Maxine. She kept in touch with my Mother Doreen ( who is now 103!) .

Thank you Aunty Vera for such treasured memories. The times spent with you and Uncle Bill will always bring a smile to my face and light up my heart. We shared many a happy memory and our love of Birmingham City FC so as our anthem says Keep Right on to the end of the Road. God Bless.
