StellaJOHNSONOn Sunday, September 19, at her home, Stella Johnson, aged 70, of Oswaldtwistle. Stella worked at Ward Knowles for over 20 years as a print finisher and also at Mercer Bros. Stella loved spending time with her family; she passed many an hour reading a good book and enjoyed venturing out to go shopping and was also a keen walker. She leaves behind her much loved husband Billy, she was the dearly loved mum of Wendy and Martin, a sadly missed mother-in-law of Sam and Kathryn, devoted grandma of Jeremy, Maia, Lucas and Evie, and a very dear sister of Stuart and Terry. The funeral service will be held at Immanuel Parish Church, New Lane, Oswaldtwistle on Friday, October 1 at 11.30am, prior to interment in the churchyard.
