Sincere thanks to all who attended the services at St Michael's and South Parish Church and Roucan Loch. We were so pleased that you were part of such a special day. We would like to thank the nurses, auxiliary staff and doctors of the Combined Assessment Unit and Ward C4 at DGRI for their compassionate medical and nursing care of Barbara. Grateful thanks to all the staff at John Pagan & Son Funeral Directors, Dumfries, especially Billie for your support and guidance throughout and to Matthew and the team on the day. A special and heartfelt thank you to Rev. David Matheson who led both services, accompanied by Simon Hyslop on the organ, who made the services personal and captured Barbara. Thank you also to Passion Flowers for the beautiful family flowers and the Caledonian Hotel for the funeral tea and pleasant service from all the staff. Finally, a big thank you to everyone who donated both in person and on-line. £1000 has already been donated to Alzheimer's Scotland to continue the much-needed research and care. Thank you.
