JACK RUEBEN GIDEONJack Rueben, Gideon Went home to be with the Lord on 26th December 2011, aged 56 years. Much loved husband of Karen and loving father to Jermaine and Charmaine, a proud grandad, much loved son of Adolphus and Rosanna Jack. Loving brother to James, Lydia, Laura, William, Peter and Edith. Doting uncle to all his nieces and nephews and a great friend to many. Rueben will be sadly missed by all. Funeral on Monday 16th January 2012, 11.00am service to be held at the Assemblies of the First Born New Testament Church, London Road, Derby, followed by burial at Nottingham Road, Cemetery. A celebration of Rueben's life will be held afterwards at the Derby West Indian Community Centre. All donations will be collected at service and given to the Macmillan Cancer Support Unit, Royal Derby Hospital. Floral tributes to be sent to G. Wathall & Son Ltd, Macklin Street. Special thanks to all family and friends for their support and messages of sympathy and to all the staff at Macmillan Support Unit. At rest in the arms of his Saviour.

Still missing your presence Ruebes, our family has not been the same since your departure I think of you often, remembering your laughter at your own silly jokes & our air kisses when we greet each other. My only comfort is that you are resting in the Lord until we meet again.
