It is Father's day and you were my Dad. I am 70 years old, you only knew me for 3 of those years. My new parents were lovely, and told me only good things about you and your dad, my Grandad Frederick Francis Izzard. I came across a letter that you wrote, saying that you wished things were different, but you were not in a good place, therefore it is with regret that you accept my adoption. The last line on that letter you wrote, send my love to Tony, I only wish we could have met, but your health cruelly took you away from Sybil, and also the chance for me to meet you.
Not sure if I ever got to call you Dad at 3 years old, so I, like you, send my love to you DAD on Father's Day.

Tony and Ann are sad to hear if the passing of David's wife Sybil. We did not get to meet her and David, but she gave us a precious letter telling us all about her lovely life with with Tony's Dad. We will always be grateful to Sybil for that letter, as she called David her Mr Wonderful, and missed him so much. This gave Tony comfort to know that his dad was a good man. We will always be grateful to Sybil for the letter, RIP, God Bless you Both. Our thoughts and thanks go out to Sylvia, Claire and family. 💔

It is so sad to add to the Orbituary for Dave, the death of his beloved wife and my beloved sister Sybil Flossie Izzard, nee Wright, who died on the 29 November 2024.

"Life is but a stopping place, A pause in what's to be, A resting place along the road, to sweet eternity" Rest in Peace Dave and Sybil, together for ever
