IVANWalter Booth of Earl Shilton, has died on 1st April 2008, at home aged 87 years. The funeral service was held at Earl Shilton Baptist Church by the Rev Ron Davis, the hymns sung were Lead Us Heavenly Father Lead Us and The Lord's My Shepherd. Ivan's ashes were later interred at Earl Shilton Cemetery. Ivan was married to Sylvia for nearly 66 years, they had six children, eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. In the war years Ivan served on board H.M.S. Rodney which took him all over the world. In his working days he worked at Nicholl's & Wilemans Birds & Yeomans, Minards, and Burgesses in Hinckley.
